Die Sportministerkonferenz ist nicht für Kritik am organisierten Sport bekannt. Insofern ist die jüngste Resolution erstaunlich und belegt einmal mehr die Unfähigkeit des DOSB im angeblich größten deutschen Sportprojekt. Der Dachverband wird aufgefordert, endlich eindeutige Regeln zu definieren.

Einerseits verdienstvoll, andererseits werden darin, nach vielfältigen Konsultationen, Kernprobleme nur unzureichend beschrieben. Kompromisse bis zur Unkenntlichkeit. Ist dem Sport unter IOC-Führung so etwas abzuringen?
144th ioc session
Die 144. IOC-Session ist beendet. Und weil es so schön war im griechischen Luxusressort, beschloss das IOC, zur Session 2027 ins nächste Luxusressort einzukehren: ins Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort, Spa & Casino, Punta Cana. Geld spielt halt keine Rolle.

Die Welt-Anti-Doping-Agentur setzt ihren Krieg gegen die freie Presse fort. Für das WADA-Symposium nächste Woche in Lausanne werden (den wenigen) Journalisten strenge Grenzen gesetzt. So sollen u.a. Social-Media-Posts, die den WADA-Heiligen missfallen, mit Entzug der Akkreditierung bestraft werden.

The World Anti-Doping Agency continues its war against a free press. For the WADA symposium in Lausanne next week, strict limits are being set for the (few) journalists. Among other things, social media posts that displease the WADA saints will be punished with the withdrawal of accreditation.
